Welcome to The Cable Car Store. We opened our doors for business on July of 1992, and have been leaders in the San Francisco souvenir business ever since. Our retail store is located at San Francisco’s famous Pier 39 and specializes in offering the best, most memorable souvenirs that celebrate the beauty and magic of San Francisco.
We take pride in offering old fashioned customer service. In fact, our web customers are so surprised that we call them on the phone if there is a problem with their order. But to us, this is a normal way to do business. Frankly, we enjoy talking to our customers.

We offer a 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed policy. PERIOD. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, please do not hesitate to email us for the procedure to send it back to us.
However, there is one exception. If you have applied a coupon, or received a discount for quantity ordering, you are not eligible for a refund, nor can you return your purchase.

We accept VISA, MC and DISCOVER
What form of shipping do you use?
We use both UPS and USPS. 50% of our orders ship through UPS and 50% go through USPS. USPS is generally cheaper for International orders.
Do you accept orders by either e-mail or phone?
Very often our customers find that they need the personal touch. Please feel free to call us at (415)989-2040 and ask for Marcel or Julio. They will be happy to assist you with your questions. Keep in mind though, that they may have some customers at the register(we don’t sit at desks), so they may be juggling.
We do not prefer that you send us an order by email. Email is not a secure way to send credit card information, so we prefer you send us questions only by email.
I do not see what I am looking for. Can I send a description of what I want?
Please contact us anytime if you cannot find what you are looking for. Unfortunately it is impossible for us to offer all of the products we carry in our retail store on our website. Sometimes customers have been in our store, went home with an idea of what they want, only to find out we do not have it on our website. We apologize, but please know we can send you anything we sell, so just drop us an email with a description. email@example.com
Also, our buyers are very familiar with all of the souvenir options that are available in the marketplace. If we do not carry something you are interested in, we would be happy to assist you in finding the retail source for that item.
There was a mistake in my order, what do I do?
Please contact us immediately so that we can correct our mistake.
