Shipping and Returns

Shipping Information:

Orders received Monday through Thursday before 8:00am PST will be processed and shipped within 72 hours. Orders received after 11:59 PST on Thursday, will not ship until Monday. We do not process or ship orders on Saturday or Sunday.
 

Domestic Shipping:

We provide shipping through USPS for the 48 contiguous United States, Alaska, and Hawaii.
 

Tracking Numbers:

At the time of shipping we will send you an email and let you know your order is ready for USPS pick up. In that email, we will provide a USPS tracking number so that you may follow the progress of your package as it makes it way to your address. Go to USPS.com or to enter the tracking number to see your packages delivery progress.
 

International Shipping:

We regretfully do not ship internationally anymore, effective 4-1-2016. The main reason for this is the cost. Even for the smallest item, the minimum shipping fee is over $40.00US. That cost has been prohibitive to you as a customer so much so, that few orders were placed.

 

Shipping Tips

If no one is home during the day to receive a package, we highly recommend that you ship the package or gift to the Addressee's business address (if they are allowed to receive personal packages there). If the package cannot be delivered, it will be returned to us and your order delayed.

Please double-check the address information to be sure your order will be shipped to the correct address. If it goes to an incorrect address, your order will be delayed.

The "Bill To" address must be identical to the address to which the credit card statement is sent monthly. Your credit card charge will not be approved and your order will not be placed if you use an incorrect address.

Remember, an order can only be sent to one address. If you are buying something for someone else, which need to be shipped to a different location, please enter a separate order for each shipping address.types:

 

Returns:

We offer a 100% Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed...No Questions Asked. However, refunds are not available to special orders and discounted purchases.

Should you be unhappy for any reason with anything you buy from  Cable Car Store , we will be happy to issue you a full refund within 60 days of the shipment date.

To arrange for a refund, please email us with your request, including order number and the item number of what you wish to return. You may call us at 415-989-2040 or you may email us at website@cablecarstore.com.

In cases where a product is defective, is damaged during shipping, or if you received the wrong product, we will arrange for you to return the item free of charge.

You are responsible for the packages safe arrival back at our retail location. For this reason, we highly recommend that you get a tracking number and buy shipping insurance, in case the product gets lost in transit. Both of these services are available from the Post Office as well as from other shipping companies.

We also recommend that you keep all of your shipping paperwork until your card is credited for the return.

Refunds will be issued only to the original purchaser's credit card and are not available to special orders or discounted purchases. We must receive the items to be returned within 60 days of purchase to qualify for a refund.
